Villa Berrettini is a magnificent period building dating back to 1500, birthplace of Mr Pietro Berrettini, a painter and architect among the leading exponents of the Italian Renaissance.
Hidden within the solid stone walls, an extended private garden is at guests disposal. Thanks to its outstanding position, it dominates the entire town and the valley below providing total privacy and a priceless view.

Being extremely rare to find gardens inside Cortona's walls, the villa's extended outdoor space is a real unique jewel. Its length allow the guests to enjoy several equipped area en plain air.
Through the living area of the villa it is possible to access to a panoramic terrace provided with stairway which leads to the outdoor dining area, surrounded by beautiful flowers and rose bushes. From there, a well-kept English lawn spreads out where guests can fins sun loungers, original stone elements, benches, fountains and small natural recesses perfect to enjoy the silent with a good book or even just a contemplative break.

A small annex, with its own entrance but connected to the main villa, comprises a double bedroom with a private bathroom and a small kitchenette.
The main building of the villa boasts a large bright living area, a fully equipped kitchen with panoramic terrace and three spacious double bedroom, each of them with en suite full bathroom with whirlpool bathtube. The whole property then can accommodate up to 8 people.

Villa Pietro Berrettini, completely renovated if full respect of the original structure, is freestanding, quiet and with finished with extreme care. Just in front of the villa, there are some free parking spaces.
Accessing through the main entrance, you can admire the ancient original fireplace of the Berrettini's family, carved out of pietra serena stone and perfectly preserved and still displaying the family's coat of arms: a shining star adorned with two roses crossing each other.
The villa features satellite TV, CD / DVD player, WI-FI and a small library with several books both in Italian and English.

> Pietro Berrettini master bedroom: it comes with a double bed, spacious and elegant. This bedroom boasts a beautiful view over Cortona and a pleasant lounge area with extra single bed and private bathroom with whirlpool shower (sleeps 2 + 1).
> Rina Maria Pierazzi Suite: the bedrooms has one double bed and two twins, private bathroom and whirlpool shower (sleeps 2 + 1 + 1).
> The Romantic Room: it is a very large and has a double bed, elegant and comfortable, with a characteristic canopy bed and cosy furnishings. The bathroom has a whirlpool bathtu (sleeps 2).
