Description
Villa La Colognola is a newly-restored luxury villa which offers the highest of standards and lies on a majestic hillside boasting a sublime position which provides great views over the outstanding countryside and out to the Lake Trasimeno. This is the ideal place for total relaxation in an opulent setting being surrounded by the beauties of nature.
This beautiful villa is very stylish and spacious throughout; its interiors and furnishings combine at the same time simplicity and elegance in a design-oriented atmosphere, with the use of pale wood, precious materials and stones contrasting with glass surfaces and smooth plasters. The relaxing natural shades which characterize the whole house, are matched with splashes of colours of the wisely-selected home decors.
The master suite is located in the guest house, which it used to be an old barn. The suite comes with a modern large bed beautifully placed in the middle of the room making the view over the lake even more enjoyable. The whole room boasts a beautiful natural light throughout the day thanks to the three large windows. Next door, we find an elegant bathroom with double wash basins, marble counter and bathtub.
Entering the ground floor of the main house, we find a noble open plan kitchen with a modern design, an interesting combo between rough wood and the white ceiling with high tech lightning. It meets also the guests' needs providing all the equipment needed and electrical appliances.
The kitchen opens onto a rustic dining area and a welcoming living area, the perfect area to unwind and watch a film together on the large flat screen TV.
This floor comprises also a stylish bathroom.
On the upper floor, accessible through the outdoor staircase, we find three more bedrooms. Two of them are double bedrooms with private bathroom with shower. Another bedroom, comes with 1 French size beds and en-suite bathroom with shower. All the bedrooms open on beautiful living space characterized by a fascinating working fireplace and a majestic antique mirror.
Villa la Colognola boasts also some SPA features such as sauna and
multi-color mood lighting shower, an ideal relaxation oasis either on the chilly days or after a tiring day of sightseeing in the summer.
An absolute plus is the stylish pool, spread on a length of 10mt, which provides dramatic views all the way to the lake through the quaint rolling hills.
Only 500mt away there is a café and a small grocery shop which can be easily reached by foot in a few-minute walk.
Within a few-minute drive it is possible to reach either the lake side with all its villages and a large town centre.
